Brenda strives to continue finding ways to assist patients with needs as they fight the ultimate fight. Pink Heart Funds is a local nonprofit that has helped fulfill her mission of helping others and with the support of our community and our supporters we are committed to helping men, women and children with all type cancers.
When she's not working or spending her time at the office of Pink Heart Funds , you will usually find her jeeping, or boating or simply sitting by the pool with her wonderful husband, Cliff and Dog Sunny!
After retiring from a long career in medical education for several manufacturers in vascular medicine. In her role, Judith presents to organizations, can be seen on local television stations and is active in our large fundraising events. She has developed a volunteer program to coordinate our needs to the volunteers interest. When not working for PHF, Judith enjoys playing golf and travel.

Jamie has been a valu3ed member of Pink Heart Funds for 4 years. She first served as Secretary and is now our Treasurer where she is responsible for overseeing and maintaining the organizations financial health.
In her free time, Jamie enjoys exploring new adventures with her fiancé, Blake, spending time with her niece Jenna and nephew Drew and sharing special moments with her family. A creative spirit, she also enjoys designing handmade wreathes and decorating doors with her custom creations.
April has worked as an office administrator for over 35 years where she has built business relationships and communications with other businesses and community leaders . She resides in Long Beach with her husband Jon and they have two children together and two dogs. Her love for animals is demonstrated through her work with "The Fetch Dog

Her love for animals is demonstrated through her work with "The Fetch Dog Park" Committee and was a vital part of its opening in Long Beach. April is always a big part of The Doggie costume contest for the Ribbon Walk which is one of Pink Heart Funds annual fund raising events. April always enjoys collecting the items for the gift baskets and awards for the winners. April has been a dedicated volunteer for Pink Heart Funds for over 10 years.
David enters his fourth season with the Shuckers and his third as the team’s Community Development Manager. Under his leadership, the Shuckers have spent more than 200 hours per year involved in giving back to the Gulf Coast via community engagement, service projects, fundraising support, & much more. David enters his fourth season with the Shuckers and his third as the team’s Community Development Manager. Under his leadership, the Shuckers have spent more than 200 hours per year involved in giving back to the Gulf Coast via community engagement, service projects, fundraising support, & much more. Through the creation of the Heart of a Shucker Community Fund (launched July 3, 2023), the Shuckers have invested more than $75,000 across the Gulf Coast Community. Plans are in place to double that total for the 2025 & 2026 seasons.
Prior to joining the Shuckers, Blackwell spent a decade in the music business as a professional singer/songwriter between Birmingham and Nashville. He’s worked with several non-profits and in part time/volunteer roles with the New Orleans VooDoo (Arena Football League) and the Greater New Orleans Sports Foundation.
He currently serves as the president of the Gulfport School District CTE Advisory Committee, the Gulf Coast Chamber Champs Chair, a Keesler AFB Honorary Commander, and on several other boards/committees. When his Shuckers schedule allows, he is a player/manager for an over 35 baseball team based in his hometown of New Orleans. He is the host of the “Heart of a Shucker Community Podcast” as well as the “Play More Country Music Podcast”, both of which launch in January of 2025.
Born in Mobile, raised in New Orleans, he and his wife now call Bay St. Louis home, with the Biloxi Shuckers Directors of Team Morale (team dogs), Barqs & Shuck. David played collegiate baseball for the Mississippi College Choctaws before moving into a student assistant role. He’s an avid follower of the University of Alabama athletics, NASCAR, and country music.

Jeff has volunteered, since 1993, with different organizations that fight the battle against cancer. He has been the logistics coordinator for the Pink Heart Funds Ribbon Run/Walk since 2024. Jeff can be found running when he is not working, volunteering, traveling, and spending time with his wife and two daughters.
